Guy Gerber + Puff Daddy – Terminal K

5 Sep

Five minutes ago I heard about one of the weirdest collaborations ever: Guy Gerber + Puff Daddy. Yes. Guy Gerber, an Israeli tech house DJ has collaborated with Sean Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, Diddy and P. Diddy. I immediately needed to hear what musical brainchild has come out of the minds of these two musicians, honestly not believing it would be anything good at all. And although I do not like every track on the album 11 11 (here’s a link to the free download), Terminal K for example is quite nice.

Tosca – Stuttgart (John Digweed and Nick Muir Remix)

28 Aug

This track has been one of my favourites for the past few weeks. John Digweed and Nick Muir have made this fantastic remix  because Fatboy Slim asked them to make a Brazil inspired track for him. The vocals in Portuguese definitely add up to the awesomeness of this remix.

Ah man, this is a track that has haunted my mind since I heard it in many DJ mixes, compilations and sets. As it happens, I just found out the name of this track and for those of you who haven’t heard it yet: check it out! It is fantastic!

DaddyKShunn – Love To Learn (Tom Ruijg’s Learn To Love Remix)

Amsterdam’s Tom Ruijg remixed DaddyKShunn’s Love To Learn into a deep and beautiful track with his Learn To Love Remix, but don’t miss out on the also fantastic original version.

Vaal – Seahnak

Another great track from Tale of Us’ Boiler Room set. Credit goes to Vaal, who has made this deep track, with a lot of bass!

Jay Shepheard – Otter Bronze

This is such a magnificent track. It’s crazy, deep and really good!

Lana Del Rey – Born To Die (Two Armadillos Choose Your Last Words Remix)

This one goes deep! What a remix by the Two Armadillos (Giles Smith & Martin Dawson).

Nina Kraviz – Ghetto Kraviz

I always wondered how this track would sound when you play it out loud in a club. Yesterday, this question was answered for me: it sounds deep and crazy!

Ben Pearce – What I Might Do

Here is a track to enjoy for you on this Thursday evening. It appears on a lot of current compilations and is also played in many sets. Take a listen to judge if it deserves it!
